Cheap Tricks: Cool stuff for under 25 bucks.
One of the best for a Scout is the F**d starter solenoid. I never have a hot start problem and it makes adding power leads simple for under $20.00 bucks. Added relays for the headlights, zero cost (had the relays).
So let's hear it.

What is this the B.B. now. We can spell out FORD and JEEP here! I'll still use Chebby because of my general dis-taste for them. :flipoff2: :flipoff2: :flipoff2:

Just advertise for cheap not running vehichles and see what comes out of the wood work. I'm still getting offers for free rigs, just take them away. Just to cost to haul and store them. How that for inexpesinve tricks. I got three scouts that way. :flipoff2:

A cool cheap Mod is using the frt shock towers from a Waggy. There 6.00 ea @ PnP and will let you use Rancho 9012/5012 on a 4" lifted Scout II

That's a good one Old Scout. I like to use the shock towers for a FORD F250 (can't remember the year). Very tall and you can use the 9012/5012 but you can mount them double shear instead of single shear like the waggy towers. Last time I checked, they were $12.50 each brand new from FORD dealer.

Did I say anything about Disco's in the message, huh did I. I guess I shouldn't talk cause the wife drives an Expo. Big station wagon w/ AWD and street tires. But you can haul a lot of crap home from the store in that thing.
OTOH, I don't know why before we bought the whale of a rig, I offered to buy her a Travelall and dump a few thousand into a new interior and rebuild the chassis, she said NO! All the luxury of an Expo with the class of Tall. Go figure women.

Hmm.. I'm trying to think of the last thing I did to my Scout for under $25 other than an oil change..
Ford Solenoid (BTW, same thing is used on the IH Light Trucks..)
Rattle Can Paint.
Under-hood shovel.
Does welding my new U-joints into the front axle shafts count?
Transmission cooler as p/s cooler to keep the locker from boiling the fluid.
12" of 4"x1/4" plate for the steering box!
