Try this link The Expert (http://www2.dana.com/Expert/)

Then take the time and read Billavista's Tech articles

I just did a quick search using that number, and I couldn't get anything to come up. What did that BOM# come off of?

Well, you already know what make, model and year. The only thing the BOM is going to tell you that you don't already know is the original ratio and if it originally had a limited slip or open carrier. Why not just pop the cover off and see what it actually has in it now?

What does it matter? I realize the 1980 SII axle has a bit of caster but not enough to worry about. I can just about guarantee you'll have to cut and turn the knuckles.

Yeah i know but I am hoping that I can get enough for it to be ok. I am going sua but I have 1.5 in of lift shackles. and that is killing my caster angle. I am thinking of getting rid of my lift shackles but I think that will take away the clearance I need to clear the 35s

Milwaukee makes a body-alteration-kit that'll fix your 35-fitting problem, and getting rid of the lift shackles will fix your caster and help you avoid tearing shackle mounts out of the frame..

I have the Milwaukee for my Scout.. but I've been looking at some Dewalts lately, too.. 'cept I'm eyeballing the 18V do-it-on-the-trail kind. :D

No matter what the caster when mounted on a stock scout I don''t think it has any real bearing on what your caster will be on a jeep. Bolt the dam things on set it on the ground and modify as necessary to make it work. All the parts should interchange with earlier scout 44 stuff. No BOM needed.

Shouldn't the date right next to the BOM confirm this?
