All mine were clear red plastic.
Always heard tales of alka seltzer in them, but never tried it.
We never had alka seltzer around the house, I guess Dad knew that I would feed them to the dog, birds, try to blow stuff up.

do you remember the cars that where like offroad buggys that you pumped air into them and that was the propelant? i dont remember what they where called:( those where cool too

I always wanted the big one that looked like a Saturn Rocket but only got those.

I think they still have them once and awhile at the dollar store.

We used to take the little 99¢ rockets (well they were when I was a kid) and fill the rest of the tube ahead of the motor with gunpowder and superglue the nose cone in.:D

Today is like a step back to the past! First i see Wuzzles, now this! I had the rockets, the car that was air powered AND the metal rocket/cap thingys. Dayum! :D

Next, we are going to start talking about the Fraggles again!

I loved the water rockets!! Mine was clear red and a white plastic. Tough things, too. Never broke it, ever. I bought one recently for the boy and it broke on the 3rd flight...plus it didn't fly for shit. TOYS THESE DAYS ARE SHIT.

Model rocketry is awesome, too. Did that for a couple years in 4-H (yeah...I said 4-H). Don't buy the 3 stage jobbers...you never find the second stage!! :D

YUP!!!! We got a couple of solid fuel rockets for my oldest son a few years back. Went up to the riverbed off the 118 and lauched 'em off. Freakin great fun!!

I had the Air jammer car ( the one that looked like a baja bug).
The water rockets (2) of them a red/white one and a orange/yellow one.
I still got the solid fuel rockets. :flipoff2:

I had one of those. Never did get it to work. The top stage always blasted off when I was pumping it up.
