Is it as simple as writing the person's name, then sighing your name next to it? i.e.
John Smith by my signature
I am trying to help out my sister, and want to make sure that she signs the forms that she is filling out properly.
Off to a meeting, please discuss amongst yourselves and get back to me :)

If the power of attorney has been granted to you, you sign your own name, the document authorizes you to sign as though you were the person who was to sign in the first place.
