Okay I cheated a little, took a set of OME spring a customer sent up and had a spring shop mock up a set off them. They worked perfect and stuffed very well into the wheel wells, only concern was the roug ride.
One thing for another was the fact that the springs were firm and after removing all sway bars the truck seem to roll less in the corners.
I am having another set built and they will be about a inch or more longer( stole that idea from Grogs recent springs ). Should put the shackles at a better angle after install and make for a better out of the box ride. We are talking about a rig that will see little or no off road (SAD).
Not sure the anti inversion shackles are worth poop as my shocks surely limit my travel and would not allow the shocks to invert.
My true convern is the shop does everthing the fig spring shop will do short of the tappering, is it that important?
