do you sleep on?


I have a theory that your prominent hand decides which side of the bed you sleep on.

Let me clarify, left from the foot OR right while you're in it.

I'm left handed. I sleep on the left side of the bed, but that's because the right side is up agains the wall. Sometimes I'll sleep in the middle. I can't sleep on the right side of the bed, it just feels too creepy.

Before I answer, by left and right sides do you mean looking from the foot of the bed, or looking from the headboard? Might wanna edit that into your first post:flipoff2:

Right handed, left side.

I find it easier to "work" with my right hand while on the left side.:D

I voted right-right, but it's really because the left side of my bed is against the wall. Nothing to do with my dominant hand.

Ok thats what I went off of. I'm a lefty and sleep on the right, putting my dominant hand in the middle. Where the action is.

which ever side i pass out on .. if i make it to my bed..

usually toward the right side b/c my cell phone, alarm clock, remotes all sit on the nightside and its on that side of the bed.

Left side of the bed, right handed.

The side without the wet spot.

I've always looked at it like this. The left side of the bed is the man's side. Why? Well, women are bitchy enough, we might as well make it so they at least wake up on the right side of the bed. :flipoff2:

You forgot to add a 5th option.. The side away from the door. You see, if you are away from the door the wife is the front line contact person for the kids :D

I actually sleep on the left side.... and I am right handed... but i sleep in a fetal position on my right side with my hand under my head and so does she so we can spoon.

nah what was fun was when I was in college and sleeping with a girl on my twin bed. But I slept on the outside, so I was the one that got to fall off :(

lol, i did that for a month, but she was a 90 pounder and i was a 31 waist back then. The things we do, to hit it. :D

I sleep on both sides of the bed.

My wife and I switch sides of the bed all the time.
whoever has to get up earlier gets to sleep ont he side with the alarm clock.

Left side, when laying in it, left handed. Used to be the other way around (for 4 or 5 years).

I sleep diagonal....6 foot 3 on a full just doesn't leave too much room.

In my teen years I had a kali King water bed, I'd wake up all of over the bed even with my head at the foot of the bed....

Her 125 lbs...
Me 230 lbs...

If alone in the middle. If the GF is over or me at her place than which ever side is closer to the door. It's a protective thing:confused:

I'm right handed and just recently started sleeping on the left side of the bed,....it really makes no different, it just depends on who has to get up first as to who sleeps next to the alarm clock.

Where's the "Right Handed" and "In the doghouse" option? :confused:

im on the left side but usually end up hogging the whole bed and rob has a teeny tiny area about ready to fall off!:p

Since we've lived in our current house, I've been on the right side.. but in past apartments, I've been on the left, then right... seem to depend more on where the closet(s) are in the room...

That's funny, Gunner told me you sleep teetering on the edge or in the floor when I'm not there. :p
