has anyone here done a nv4500 swap into a 2wd truck? I am thinking about doing some sort of od tranny swap into my crewcab dually in an effort to gain some fuel mileage out of it. I was told all of the nv4500 that were 2wd were of the electronic speedo type. Is this true?

Sounds like you need to contact Adavanced Adapters they can answer anything about those trannies ...they sell all the parts to fit anything you need too. You might wanna look into the "Gear Vendors" overdrive unit also....pretty sweet mod to do.....good luck...
