Looking for a disk braked D44 front from a Scout II. Prefer a 3.73 ratio but will consider others. May buy the rear with it as a set.
Will pay "going rate." (I realized that "$100" was too low!)
Let me know what you have as I'd like to get this 800 on the road. Thanks, Greg
P.S. I check email often, please reply to: ellars@yahoo.com

greg,
there is a IH club in oregon, they used to be called Smoken' Scouts, now they go by the name "IH Scouts & Trucks of Oregon". Good group of guys and should be able to help hook you up with a decent D44.
Contact guy would be Jack C. Campbell, e-mail: farmjc@molalla.net.
The is also the Vendor "Mr. Scout" in Eugen (sp?) Or. Mike and Todd, the owners, are super cool, and should be able to help you out.
good luck, now you DO realize that a Scout II D44 IS NOT a bolt in into an 80/800 series, right??
The spring centers are different and will require modification.

Mark, Thanks for the good information on locating axles et. al. I'll email Mr. Campbell. Yes I know I need to fabricate to make them fit. Again, thank you. Greg
