I just saw a 70ish K5, on huge swamps 44s I think, with d60, 14 bolt, mint looking body, for sale for $10000cdn.

You'd be on your own to get them narrowed, I really dont know how much that would cost. Selling them for a lot of reasons but moving to 2.5ton rockwells.

If you can build a rig with D60, and lockers, get your steering buillt, and the gearing to handle the 42" tires, add a V8, and all of the drive train, for $6500, good for you. I just think your full of shit. You act like anything that anyone spends a buck on, isnt worth a crap compared to what you could manufacture, from forging molten beer cans or dredged up from some junk yard somewhere for free.
