...who's done it? We need to pull some lift our of my buddies YJ b/c the new springs (RE spring overs 1.5" for those of you who followed the spring suggestion thread) are taller than he wants. we already redrilled the frame mount 1.5" higher which pulled out 3/4" but we need to ditch more.

our next best option is to pull the 1" body out. it looks like everything should clear when we rework the radiator shroud but wanted to get some opinions. the way I see it is if you can put a belly-up skid on which raises the tranny and rear part of the engine more than 1" this should work too...

I have seen guys do it on 4.0 TJ's. Never seen it on a YJ but I haven't looked either.

I think (I'm going off of memory here) that it should work with a bit of adjustment to the tranny tunnel cover. and maybe the firewall/floor seam. you also might need a bit of gental persuasion with a sledge hammer right above the x-fer case. If'n it don't work at all you could always cut out the tranny tunnel and build a new one.

it fits I had a currie 1" MM for a couple of months before I added a BL to go with it.

I didn't extend lines or cut anything. installed it and wheeled the mofo. :D

I did it in my TJ before the BL. Just had to trim the fan shroud for clearance.:D
