HEY JUST THOUGHT ID INTRODUCE MYSELF. IM 15 AND GOT A 75 FJ40 A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO TO RESTORE WITH MY DAD.WE TOOK IT ALL APART DOWN TO THE TUB AND HAD THE BODY WORK DONE AND HAD IT REPAINTED. I WISH I HADNT OF DONE THAT NOW BECAUSE I COULD HAVE SPENT THAT 3G ON STUFF THAT WILL MAKE MY CRUISER BETTER OFF ROAD INSTEAD OF MAKEING IT LOOK PRETTY. RIGHT NOW IM PAYING IT OFF SO ITS PRETTY STOCK BUT AS SOON AS I HAVE THE MONEY IM PLANNING ON A SOA, SR,35 TSL/SX, FULL CAGE, DETROIT IN BACK, LOCKRIGHT IN FRONT, SWAP IN FJ60 AXLES,NEWFIELDS. RIGHT NOW IM TRYING TO CONVINCE MY DAD THAT CRUISERS WERE MADE FOR WHEELIN AND NOT FOR LOOKIN PRETTY. HE IS SCARED TO TAKE IT OFF THE PAVEMENT, BUT HE JUST BOUGHT ME SOME SWAMPERS SO ITS ALL GOOD.IVE BEEN READING YOUR GUYS' ARTICLES FOR A WHILE AND FINALLY DECIDED TO REGISTER.

Thanks for the intro....and welcome :flipoff2:
We need some more FJ-40 guys from the OK area. I wheel a lot in Clayton and Poteau.
Also, take off the DAMN caps lock, we have been putting up with Ryan's posts like that for a year or so and one "caps locker" is one too many!! :)

sounds just like me..i did all that painting crap when i was 15 and spent too much on useless stuff..you live and learn...if i hadnt spent money on getting parts for F engine and painting and everyting else, i coulda thrown in a V8 instead of having the F seize up the first time it was out on the road after the rebuild of the truck ....welcome newbie :flipoff2:

Welcome, newbie! Hey, at least you HAVE a Cruiser, too many punk teenagers with crotch rockets or "Fast and the Furious"-style rice burners around this area, it's rare to find a young kid with a Land Cruiser.
You're starting young, I know it's easy to get poisoned up with all these guys (heck, I'm 31 and I get poisoned seeing Nolen's and Alan's trucks!), but things will come, and pretty soon you'll be on the rocks where you and the Cruiser belong.

Welcome Newbie. Cass, Arkansas is pretty mild. I have a good feeling it will be held at Byrd's Campground. There will be plenty of obstacles, a huge rock garden, and plenty of trails to have fun on. Most of the stuff there is not too difficult, but if you want some hard stuff it can be found. This is the place where the Rockcrawlers 4x4 club holds their annual Rocktoberfest. I've been there three times and it is alot of fun.

Hope you're dad sees the light and mabey even gets into wheelin with you. I take my kids out almost always. My 10 year old son is already talking about what he wants on his cruiser when he's old enough. He got to drive mine on Thaksgiving. He was even able to use the clutch and shift. I let him climb a couple of small hills too. So for us it's a family deal that we all love.
