big dog productions, aquired some privately owned land.... and run 3 day events throughout the year.... good people, hardcore trails, good parties.... good times :D all but one of the events are held in GORE VA.... come awwn out this way, more than glad to hook up with ya...

Yep. I will be at all of them. Skip is building a new rig. He sold everything but the motor, trans, and t-case.

so what kind of trails, can you run this place with 36" tires? or is this a 44" muddy mess only place.......

not much mud at all, lots of rocks.... the level 9 ,10 and 10a trails are hard..... it all depends on how much you like to GET IT... they have less challenging trails for those who dont want the hard core shit...


if ya pick the hard ones and break,roll or whatever.... as SKIP would say, dont get you pretty pink panties in a bunch, and it sucks to be you... :D

My truck should be done in about a month and I recently acquired a trailer so hopefully I'll be there. :D :D

Skip's building a single seater on a YJ frame with 2 1/2 ton axles, Waggy front spring all the way around, 49" military tires, hydro steering and rear steer. He was talking about moving the engine back a little also. And people think he used to talk a bunch of trash !! Don bought his 60's. I'm not sure who took the tub, frame and tires.
When he mentioned the single seater... all I could say is " With your big ass what are you going to do, just move the driver's seat to the middle of your tub? "
He says it should be done in a month or so.
It looks like all the trips are going to be at Gore this year. When we were at Badland's in October, he was saying that there is potential for some more harder trails there. It would be cool to get a 10b or c trail.

Tow rigs are cool!!

I'm thinkin' I'll make the one in June. Hopefully will have my rear steer in by then, but who knows. I've had some folks trying to get me up there last year but couldn't make it, so I'm tryin' my damndest to make it this year. I prefer to go west than east though, so you never know.

Badassjeepguy, what do they check for when you do the saftey insp.? I am building a toyota framed buggy that won't have a body. But I can get a tag, reg , and ins card for a toyota truck to regester it under. Do you think they would say to much about it ? It will have head lights, tail lights , and all the other saftey stuff. It won't be a piece of shit. Just won't have a body, that way I can run some big tires with little lift and no body to get in the way. btw how much does CJ want for the trailer ?

for all interested the trailer that cj has is only gonna be sold if required to make the deal with his truck. if for some reason he decides to sell the trailer, im pretty sure i am buying it... :D

as for rides at big dogs, as long as it is built somewhat stout, run it how ever you would like....
