Ok, who has the pics. An optino of mine besides running a Waggy front, would be to run a full width Chevy front and narrow one side by 4" to make the spring perches match. Anyone have any pics of their cruiser set up this way?

i'm running a dana 44 front out of a 74 chevy with the factory toy springs i outboarded the hangers.
as for the rear left that in the stock location just cut the axle perches off moved them over and welded them back on. when i cut off the axles perches i got them to hot with a torch and distorted them. you can purchase a new set for $20 from summit.
just remember to measure, remeasure and measure again to square everything up.:)

So you never cut down one side? I am looking for pics of a cruiser with one side that is narrowed. I do not want to outboard the springs, I want to keep them in the same place, and just narrow one side of the axle, maybe run some 38's on a 10" rim with a pretty nice inset.

Maybe we just like birfields way too much to consider going full width.....well, almost full width (cutting down the long side to fit the spring pads). :D
Go check out Patman's web pages. I know he has tons of pics of Lee's Cruiser. He cut down the long side of a D60 4.5" so he didn't have to mess with his spring hangers. His rear axle is a 68" 14 bolt.

I realize you're asking for pics of a fullwidth narrowed by four inches but I thought I'd show you mine anyway... it's full width chev with 4" of backspacing and an overall width of 86" outside of tire to outside of tire...

This one is full-full width too. 1/2 ton 44 up front from a Chevy, 9" rear. Don't know his B/S, but the rims are 15X14 carbon fibers with 39.5" Boggers. Pic courtesy of www.mmor.com
