Camo, you are right, but eiuther way I get some 38's. I can care less who is the nicest guiy right about now, but I want the cheapest one. I can get them from 4Wheel parts for a good price, but that is the only company I don't want to eal with.

I'm feeling the love. ;)

Here's a list of some of the bigger Swampers that are on closeout at Mepco:
38.5X11X15BOGGER $170
38X12.5X16.5TSL/SX $170
38X12.50X16.5TSL $145
38X15.5X15RADIAL $230

They're stocking up on Goodyear, so they're clearing out a bunch of Swampers. They have a BUNCH of Swampers of lesser sizes available. Quantities are limited, so hustle.

Bob Supplee is also a good resource for Swampers.

I got mine from America's Tire on Stevens Creek in San Jose. They met the mag prices and I didn't have to pay shipping!

4WPW does suck! but then again i got my 38's from them, because i did not want to drive 1 hour to Les Swab, but now in retro spec, i would
But i think Mike is Wholesaleing them from 4WPW, but i am not sure on that

Does Mepco ship? I assume they are a CA only shop? Those are some decent deals, I might call if someone could post a number.

BTW, 4WPW is running free shipping on anything ordered online till Dec. 26th. I can get 4 36x12.5" SX's for $777 to my door!! Not to shabby.

Cost of shipping from Mepco (Utah, as stated above) to Fremont Cal, was $20 each for 38x12.50/15 TSL and $24 each for 36x12.50/15 SX.

I ended up having to get a new carrier for the front axle, so I squeezed 4WP for a deal- got 4 36x12.50/15s and a trac-loc for about $800

Dimitri,
Mike Jimenez is actually working with Steve Johnson at South Bay Driveline now; he's doing custom work n stuff in the back bay of Steve's shop.

Speaking of building business relation ships.
I've been building this Baja bug out of all my desert racing and VW firends junk:D
I've needed some new parts from time to time. I stumbled into this VW shop down the street from were I work and the guy has been more then helpful. I've only been in there 4 times in the past two weeks. and the last time I was there he basicly started me on a shop tab:eek: Didn't even ask me he just did it.
I think he didn't want to use the debit machine or something.
Any way Turns out he races short course and stuff like that and now he's hooking me up with parts.

Oh and he has a Ford 9" spool it's either 28 or 31 spline he wants to get rid of it I'll find out what it is exactly and I'll post it for yall.

And didn't Silly neck have some tires he was selling that might work?
