Very interested Camo. I want to see how people are supporting the bottom.

What brand are you using?

Appreciate the photos!

I sure see a lot of factory cars with aluminum rad and plastic tanks supported by the cross supports.

Have you had or seen problems with this?

said it before...I'll say it again... Don't forget to FULLY isolate it from mild steel, or you'll find out the meaning of electrolosis the hard way.
This has been covered in the pig section, try a search.

Weld tabs on the tank like so, you can see the discoloration of the shroud where one tab is welded on and the second one is just below the winch battery cables. Not the best pic but it is all I had. Works real good IMO.... Oh and don't laugh about the yellow sheetmetal it is all I had and I was in a hurry... :D :D

Hey Camo, Griffies have 2 1 " strips across the top and bottom to use as mounting surfaces, if you come at a Griffie from the sides you risk loosening the core welds during frame flex............howes must be built different.

Thanks for the pics guys.

My neighbor is putting an Olds 455 in a CJ6 and I think he
plans on going with one of the generic Howe radiators
that come without mounts.
