Irock Tires
Does any one know anything about the new Irock tires, and when if at all they are going to make 42's? I like the side lugs, and since Interco only makes the sx's with compareable side lugs, I am going to hope they make a larger 42 Irock.

Those who have the Irock tires how do you like them? How do they perform in the mud and rocks?

What other 42-44" tires are not too wide to be a good trail tire?

Do a search for 42" IROK info - I have posted it numerous times.

I run the 36's now and love them. In the last NEUROC I really didn't see a time that the Krawlers had any real advantage over the Iroks, they transition from mud to rock better than anything I have run before. I am gonna score a set of 39's for this season.

I think perhaps he saw this picture: http://home.off-road.com/~mithrandir/trails/turkey%20day/original%20size%20pictures/12_group_shot.JPG
(Toy on 42s, Jeep on 42s, My Toy on 38.5 SXs, and Frankie's buggy on 39.5 IROKS).

I compared Frankies 39.5 IROKs with Dave's 42 and my 38.5s: http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=200448&highlight=frankie

Short version: They're the same size as a 42" TSL, give or take. But lighter and the tread is a quite a bit softer.

Someone quote the size listed on Inteco's site as the "actual size" now, so this forum can collectively mock you and throw a couple of :shaking: in your direction. :flipoff2:
