Here are some pics of my shop work cart, looked at some three times more money and found this at Cosco for 60.00.

Look who figured out how to reduce the size of his pics, never put so many posts up.

I like the table just don't think I have the room to roll it around, way too much crap around these days!
Maybe the moving table would allow me to organize a bit....maybe not...

I think it would be just another place to clutter up. I guess I know
myself to well :D

I hear ya, my welding table is covered in parts and chop saws.

Somehow I tend to finish a job and clean up the portable table, space is a problem in my area also end up parking the table as close as possible.

Tell you the truth I would rather get rid of my skinny tool box and buy a big wide as base unit and use the top as a work area. Plus the fact that my tool chest is busting at the seems and those shitty friction sliders suck(gotta get full extension roller bearings).

But for now it works.

Same brand as the shelving I bought for the garage this year. A lot more sturdy than it looks. Bought three sets (black) at Lowes home improvement. Thought they looked familiar - then last time I was back at the old office in New Mexico noticed the computer support area had the same shelves.

Good product if your looking for inexpensive, sturdy shelving.

I'd do mine a little different...

next time you're at costco, toss two carts in the back of the truck  when you get home, you can chop the sides a little and weld on a few more shelves

I would never suggest doing this in real life ;)

As far as a SHOP MOBILE TABLE goes I want to modify an old hospital bed. It's big and heavy, rolls around, and moves up and down. I just wonder how much one would cost plus a big sheet of steel for the top. Good idea or no? Carts are easy and should be a first welding project.

You can get this same type of pole/shelving at restraunt supply places also. It is usuallly heavier than what you get at lowes and costco. Poles come in different lengths. up to 10 ft. shelves are 4, 6,or 8 ft. There are lockable rollers that go in the ends of the poles. Plan to line the new shop in Idaho with wire shelving
