Did a search, still have questions. I converted to sag pump and while much better, I'm told hydraboost sag pump would be the one to get.

What year, vehicle would be the one to get and did those pumps have any extra ports (which I don't need right now). I saw in my search someone with an 83 K-5 blazer with a diesel had hydraboost, so unless it makes a difference, I'll just tell my parts guy to get me that one.

Yeah, I don't *think* the hydroboost pumps are any different inside than a standard pump....

Yes look for the Diesel hydroboost pumps. 80-up Sub's and Blazers. I don't agree that they are the same but it depends on what part store you go to because some have different part #'s for them and some don't.

Any Saginaw or equivelent with min of 1500psi @ 3.5gpm pump will do. If the pressure is too low or you have restrictions in your power steering lines the system will usually self apply.

I just rebuilt every TC (jeep YJ) pump I own trying to achieve those number, but unforturnetely a TC pump cannot do this for very long (hours) Any Saginaw,GM, or Ford Saginaw style pump will do. You don't need any special ports to adapt just T in the return off of the hydroboost to the return to the resivoir(sp)
