Ok, so I've been researching this for quite some time now, and decided I better ask the pros for some solid advice...
So here's the scenario. I'm going to pull the heads on my AMC 304 to have them rebuilt and in the process I want to upgrade my fuel system. I was originally looking at doing an Edelbrock performer cam, intake, and carb, but then I discovered Holley's TBI kit. At this point the major difference is price as I would still probably replace the intake if I went TBI, but I would not replace the carb and cam.
My question is: Is the difference in price (about $800) worth the TBI? Or would this Edelbrock setup run just as well? To this point the jeep is mainly a daily driver, but as spring rolls around I plan to get more into offroading, and I'm worried about those off camber situations. I've been told Edelbrock's are extremly good carbs, and stalls should be of low concern.
Thanks.
