I have a 1992 4.3 cpi vortec motor i am puttin in the buggy...and have the painless harness for it..comeing off the alt there are 2 wires....in the painless kit it is saying to hook the white wire to #1 and run a jumper to #2 from the battery terminal on the alt...but the problem is...i dont know what is 1 or 2..off the stock plug for the alt its a pink/black stripe and a brown wire...what wire goes to the jumper and what one goes to the white (exciter wire)? anyone have a wiring diagram they could look at for me?
