i'm thinking that i should go with a d6o front from the start considering that a d44 with ctm's,warns etc, will be about the same cost as a stock dana 60. what do you guys think. will be running 37's or 38.5's and later probably going to 42's or so.Thanks

it'll be a cj-7 with a 302 ford and c-6, np205

If you're going that big, the 60 is the only way to go....but you don't even tell what rig or motor? This is a pretty vague question..

All things equal, starting with a d60 is better than starting with a d44 in my opinion...as long as you don't car alot about weight.

I started out with a 44 in the front of my wrangler with a 6 cylinder and 39 inch tsl's and wished every trail ride I went on that it was a 60. Do it right the first time. Espesially if you plan on 42's :flipoff2:
