I'll keep my eyes open- but the last pig that I saw for sale was back in early july, and I bought that one. Hehe. Good luck on your search. If I find anything I'll send it your way.

Do a search on the for sale board. There was a couple for sale a few months ago. I dont recall them selling, They may have gave up.

Its crazy how allmost all cruiser heads say "I love those 55's" "I allways wanted one of those" yet they are hard to sell and you cant get as much compared to a 40.

oh well, more 55's for me <IMG SRC="smilies/fj.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

Call Mudrak. He had a few in his shop a while ago but they were rough bodies. He always seems to know where the wild pigs are hiding out at.

try www.recycler.com (http://www.recycler.com) - californias recycler and go into the autos trucks section and type landcruiser. I usually see one or two there- somewhere in CA.

here is one that my friend got tire of working on. it is a 78 with warmed over engine, spring over, shackle reversal, revolver springs and bobbed bed. it looks like an anorexic hummer!! here are some pics.

if you want more pics, e-mail me off list. he is asking 4000$ for it as is. it needs to have the rear end capped off and a canvas top made for it for the roof. he has everything to finish the roll-cage but it just isnt welded in yet. he is tired of the project and has too many irons in the fire as it is. e-mail me off list at

Jon...

you can check it out before spring over at http://home.att.net/~cruiserfan/wsb/html/view.cgi-photo.html--SiteID-97425.html

It has just been sitting (reason for now wanting to sell) and the last time I tried to start it, it told me to take a flying leap. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

DMV is clean, no smog required.

As noted, there are some remaining tasks before it is road worthy... needs new brake master, new steering pump and to start. I have all the parts, just not the time.

It will also come with NP203 and adapter to TH350, new back seat, louvered hood, replacement tail gate with working window, upholstery for rear cargo area and newer floor mats.

I am not aggressively selling it, just noting it's availability to anyone interested. One person was looking for one for his wife, I told him this was not the rig he wanted.

E-mail directly for further info if interested.

And yes, there is rust in the typical spots.
