I need to know if the stock bumper on a FJZ80 comes off when the ARB bumper is installed. I found one on a dealers lot with a ding in the front bumper (dealer added option :D) and they want to repair it - I want to use it as a leverage point to lower the price.
I never thought buying a used truck would be so difficult - sooner or later I WILL find what I am looking for at a price I'm willing to pay.

Yes. The whole things comes off, so if you can negotiate, better deal for you.
Good luck!

FJ4ZROX,
You probably already know this, but these trucks are available with factory front and rear lockers - look for a rotary switch to the steering column's immediate left. This feature doesn't add to their used price at all, but if you're gonna wheel it don't buy one without it.
If the birfields are greasy, dealers typically have no clue even if it's just normal seepage, so this can help beat down the price (Look - it's leaking!). Also, the front bumper's center section is steel and painted, so a BFH and rattle can will make it look like new until the ARB comes your way.
