Anybody have pics of the linkage that they have made or just have bought for this?

hmmm anybody else? I am looking more specifically for ideas on how you bolted it to the tranny.

Your referring to the mechanical transfer case linkage with the SM465 plate style conversion??

For mine, I simply used a piece of 3/8" thick flat steel plate, about 4"w x 5"h. Drilled the plate in two places to match the two bosses on the side of the trans and then one larger hole for the pivot bolt for the lever. Skip using the stock guide plate...not needed.

Anyone know if this would work for the sm420? After I put the v8 in there, I found that the t-case vacuum hose connectors were almost touching the frame.
What are the pros and cons to the vacuum system?
