I was wondering if the ford nine inch 35 spline axles are the same as dana 60 35 spline shafts? I am interested in the size at the spline, pressure angle of splines, etc. Could you take a 35 spline d60 axle and put it into a 35 spline nine inch detroit?
Thanks:D

I have a Dana 60 S/F with 9" ends that is 35 splined with Moser 9" shafts in it. I was concerned and talked to Moser and they said that they were the same.
There are a bunch of guys here that have simular stuff.

what brake setup are you running, i am planning on converting my D60FF to a SF with 35 spline using 9" ends, now i am trying to find what disc brake setup people had done. i am thinking of adapting the tera motorsport kit.

I have the www.aa-mfg.com brackets, caddy calipers, Ford f150 rotors and chevy lines. I bought the calipers from a local pick and pull and everything else is new and I am about $125 or so in to the entire thing.
If you wnat any more info PM me

They can be different depending on whos parts you use. Mark Williams does sell 45* pressure angle splines and spools for the 9" but also has 30" like spicer uses. For the most part a 35 spline 9" will work in a semifloat 60 with 9" ends.
