We are starting a CA chapter of the Wildyoats in the Bay Area. So far there are only 3 of us and I'd like to invite anyone who is interested in joining us at a meeting. They will be held every other month until we get a few more members. Location TBA.

are there any "Cruiser Clubs" in the Antelope Valley area? around Palmdale or Lancaster? I'm at Edwards AFB and have seen quite a few fj40's in town.

Nothing Land Cruiser specific in the AV Don, but there is an offshoot of the old Los Angeles Chapter, Trail Crew - So. Cal. 4x4s. (http://www.4wdlow.com/trailcrew.htm)
There is also a really active TLCA Chapter in North Orange County, So. Cal. TLCA (http://so.cal.landcruisers.tripod.com/) . A few of that club's members are here on this BBS. Larry, you out there?
I know what you mean about Cruisers in the AV. My mother in law lives in Lancaster and I see more than a handful of FJ40s during each visit.
After the first of the year, I may be starting a So. Cal. Chapter of Wild Yoats. Stay tuned :D

Donald, going to club meetings and events is dangerous, it's where I usually discover items or modifications I'd never seen before but now MUST have!:)
I've always thought it funny that most Californians don't do a lot of driving to attend meetings because you have so many TLCA chapters! For the first five years I was a TLCA member I had to drive 1.5 hours one way to attend a CLCC meeting! One more reason to be jealous of you CA residents... :flipoff2:

Nope, sorry dude, this will be a minis only club. What with all the stink about minis and 4Runners infiltrating the TLCA and whatnot...Oh wait, you got some cool sheet for Toys, don't you? Okay, I'll make one exception, but I expect you to bob and SOA the FJ45LV prior to the first club meeting :p
Don't even THINK about driving that pseudo-Ford/British ride though, we'll have to take away all your  for that :)
