Wanted a new showerhead (got a $100 buck gift card to lowe's), so I thought I'd try one of these out. Was the cheapest of the ones they had (about 4 or 5), as it 's plastic vs. actual metal.

It's 8 inches across and has like 70-odd jets. Has 2 settings: Rain and power shot (for rinsing hair, etc). Went on in probably 15 minutes (probably would've been quicker but I couldn't get the old showerhead off). Didn't need any special tools to put it on, and it went right on the standard shower arm.

Tried it out immediately, and was very impressed with the amount of water. Power spray works nicely too.

All in all I give it :flipoff2: :flipoff2: :flipoff2: and a 1/2 out of 5. Only things that would make it better would be bigger size and a little more force out of the regular jets.

Bought an elcheapo ($20) one from Home Depot. Maybe 4" across. It's exactly the same as the ones common in Oz. Low flow, to minimize water usage (good for not emptying the water heater), didn't shoot water past the poorly installed shower door onto the floor and most importantly, had a long arm to raise the showerhead high enough that I could get under it without stooping over. Didn't have a power setting, but then I didn't need that.
