Hello,

Well I don't now what to do I have a 93 grand limited and a 96 honda accord I was thinking of selling both and buying a new or 02 grand limited, but now I wonder if I should just sell my honda, get a new one and keep my jeep going forever if I can.

Thanks.

yeah the new 4.7 h.o. in the overland is awesome, they ride and handle real good for a solid axle car. im not sure how the 5.9 limited staks up, i drive the new ones all the time since i work in the service department of a jeep dealership. course since i drive them they are broken. (not a good sign):flipoff2: the 5.9 is an awesome car though but the grille and hood louvers are a little gay.

once again better for what? For everydday driving I'm sure the new Grand would be an upgrade but do really want to beat the crap out of a new Cherokee on the trail as opposed to driving the old in to the ground?

I would stake my 5.9 against one of the new 4.7's any day of the week. As the saying goes "There's no replacement for displacement!". The 4.7's have the horsepower but not the low end grunt of the 5.9.

Of course I would'nt mind having one of the new 5 speed auto's in the ZJ, but I wouldn't give up my cubes for anything.

On the '93 vs. '02 issue, I say stick with the '93 unless you are having allot of mechanical issues and are looking to ditch it anyway. I like the '93-'98 body style better than the new ones. Plus think how bad it would hurt the 1st time you dent/scratch that '02 on the trail.

you mean WJ?:flipoff2: i think that the 5.9 could easily take the 4.7 H.O. off the line, but i know the 4.7 can catch up, it can rev. ive driven them both. you know whats fun? romping on a 5.9 limited in 4low when its not yours!:flipoff2: talk about whiplash!
