Now I need to think about it for a whole year. Maybe I should screw my build up of my 40 and find a 55? I'm more of a wagon guy anyway. Imagine what the folks driving down the highway were saying as they saw this motley group of 55s coming at them.

we had a total blast!

luckily we had enough spares to get everyone out, and I didnt have to unbolt the fancy dancy d-line <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

Make that 3 cut tires, all on the same vehicle!

Before I even got on the trail, I lost all the studs out of one wheel on top of the Loon Lake dam and left a 120' long furrow in the pavement. It was the only drivetrain damage I sustained, althogh the body has a bit more character now...

What Clark's not telling you is that his approach to pinch rock and other obstacles was basically to punch it. No way in hell I'm going to spot a 55 that's accelerating to ramming speed!

Yeah, goin' in I was pretty rough on it, but the Rubicon taught me a few lessons. Came out with only a slight additional character mark on the rear by my tail light. That compares more favorably to the body slams I got going in.

Actually (not sure I believe it) I was told that all 4 wheels left the ground when I punched over that one. Just a minor communication error between me and my spotter. Spotter told me to give it the gas. I did.

Wasn't the only time goin' in that I got off my wheels. There were a couple of other two wheel moments along the way.

I definately wasn't the most gracious wheller goin' in. But comin' out I was slow and mellow.
