I read on some page that they are 9.9 inches wide?!
is this true?

Not true. They are not narrow at all. I didn't go out and measure mine but on the Interco web page it says they are 12.3" wide at the tread for 38.5 16.5 SX's

That is for a 38.5 x 14.50 16.5 SX. for a x 12.5 wide they would be 9.8" wide at the tread.

so has anyone found that 9.9 inches is too narrow?
