i've been pondering these things for awhile.i know downey makes the cantilever style.the "hyper-shackles"were made by a place called "4x store" in franklin tn. but i have'nt seen them since GSMTR 99 possibly made by 'S.F.I." i think it stands for "swamp frog ind." :bounce2: anyone out there have any experience with them:beer:

If you want some good ones that have been proven on some pretty tough trails get them from FC187. He posts here from time to time.
Stay away from the JT Outfitters / Swamp Frog crap, it's for wanna-be wheelers that get their flex on shopping mall speed bumps.
Talk to FC, he's got a quality product at a reasonable price.

My friend Ross is running the Revolver shackles on his FJ40 and he's pretty happy with them; on the other hand, FC187's design is very cool, and I encourage supporting board members over the bigger shops...

Say Don, quit sugar-coating it for us, and let us know how you really feel:rasta:

Anyone interested in FCs shackles email me your number and Ill pass it on, his computer is down and hes getting ready to move. Definently the the best folding shackles out there. I think anyone who has seen these will attest.

Anyone got a picture of FC187's shackles? I am not in the market, but am always interested in seeing new or different products out there.

Definately go with FC187's shackles. I have a pair, and my HEEP friends want a set. I told em' no. I hope this doesn't turn into the same argument as when I poster the same ? 6 months ago. :D

Just a note on the hypershackle. I've been running a set for over a year. They are roughly 15lbs each, incredibly built and allow for 43.75 inches of flex when used with rear SO. I have not seen the others in person, and can for what my 2¢ is worth, they have held up remarkably.
