I am about to add a little altitude to the PigPen.

I have looked into several kits, and so far I am looking at the TPI and the JTOutfitters setups.

The JTO setup is the same that Morgan Fletcher ran on his until he SOAed...and I believe he is still using those springs...so I am seriously considering that in all of this...

TPI doesn't offer a kit, but I can get the following:

4x 4" springs - Smokey Mountain @ $109 each
4x Black Diamond shocks @ $39 each = $156
2x OME AI Shackles @ 62.95 = 125.90
2x OME Greasable Pins @ $62 = 124
1x U-Bolts (all 8 plus nuts) @ $68.75
2x Brake Lines (come in pairs) @ $29 = $58
1x Caster Shims (pair) @ $19

That works out to about $990 bucks plus shipping with TPI.

JTO is 975 shipped.

Anyone have experience with Black Diamond shocks?

How about Smokey Mountain springs?

Which way to go...*sigh*

Bonus on the TPI gear is the 4 inch springs.
The JTO kit is 2.5" spring with longer shackles to make up the difference.

I think the 4" springs with a stock height shackle might be a better way to go. comments?

Nevermind, I think I am gonna splurge and go for Alcans with the TPI shackles and black diamond shocks.

I wouldn't get the shocks until after you have the springs and see what length you actually need. Been there done that, you don't want to buy shocks twice.
