While my Cruiser is completely disasembled I was thinking of having the inside of the tub lined, is it worth it?
Pro's, Con's, Rino, linex or any other?
what do you think?

I had the bed of my toy rhyno lined, loved the stuff.. Where i work i see all the basic brands, from line x, to bullhide, and i still think the rhyno lining is the best stuff...

Rhynoliner is pretty shwweeet! You can also get some of the DIY stuff. There are a couple threads, at least, that cover the pros and cons and which one is the :nuke:.

There is a place that does Rino not to far away (30mi).
I am going to see if I can get a quote on how much it cost.
Does it quiet some of the drive train, and road noise?

ah yes, my favorite thing to do in this scenario is say:

"Ok, wheres the room?"
"What room?"
"THE ROOM I GET TO FAWK YOU UP THE ASS IN FOR THAT PRICE!"
then walk out. works every time.

I think rhino is probably the best of the liners. It's very strong, yet a little softer and more rubbery so it is easier on the knees and the stuff in the truck. Many of the others make the truck interior more like sand paper. And they guarantee it for life so they'll fix it if you do tear it up. Just an example of how strong it is: I had an entire rover axle, disk to disk, bouncing around in the back of my pickup for 2 weeks. It shredded the palate it was on, but the rhino held up. Just a few small scrapes. There was nothing but toothpicks left of the wood that was there before though.

And yes, it's definitely worth it to do the inside of the truck. It's great sound insulation and good rust inhibitor for the inside if it is prepped right.

And to save money, they'll work with you to allow you to do 90% of the prep on your own and then just bring it in to them for the final masking and spraying. I know my D90 and my D110 will get this treatment next time I tear them down!

If your not going to save the cash and just use black Herculiner but rather pay through the nose for someone else to do it, go for the GLO-N-DARK Rhino!

I would go with Line-X. It's the best I've seen yet and Gary Smith(Pirate member) will service you. :D (530)295-1813

:) I have had one bed Rhino lined and my last truck done by Line-X. The Line X is by far the best appearing and shows alot less wear and tear than the Rhino deal. Line X is sprayed hot and requires no cure time, so never does it have sags and the cottage cheese look. It's not as soft and that keeps it from wearing and scuffing.
