Is a Dodge driver's side flat-top knuckle the same as a Chevy flat-top knuckle? The reason I ask is becasue I found one in a wrecking yard and its drilled and tapped but the spindle mounting surface has a little bit different shape than the same area on a Chevy or a Wagoneer flat-top. The knuckle does have six studs for the spindle same as the others. Just wondering if you guys have noticed this difference or if I found an odd-ball knuckle that it not usefull.

The dodge knuckle has the same 6 bolt spindle pattern but it is clocked differently than the Chevy/Jeep knuckles. You would have to redrill the knuckle or the caliper mount to make it work. Also the taper in the tie rod hole is from the bottom where Chevy/Jeep are from the top. Not sure of anything else.

I have a couple I was looking at. There is some material cast in where the caliper bracket bolts on (2 bolt style, different bracket than GM). You'd have to fly cut that flat, to use GM brackets, or keep the Dodge calipers.
YMMV. This was on an 80's 1/2 ton 44.
