Dear NISSAN list:
I am new to the list and need to know how is the NISSAN 6 lug rim pattern(the same as the old TOYOTA pattern too) called
6 x what???
Thanks
it's 6 x 5.5" , and its the same as Toyota trucks (at least Tacomas)

pretty much any 6 lug wheel will fit. Toyota, Nissan, Isuzu, Mitsubishi, Chevy, etc. The only exceptions that I know of are the Dodge Durango / Dakota 6 on 5" bastard pattern. Some wheels are hub-centric and rely on the ribs on the hubs to keep things centered (mostly the jap trucks I think) and some are lug-centric and rely on the lugs to keep things centered (Chebby). The problem comes when putting Chebby wheels onto jap trucks. I believe that most times the center bore of the Chebby wheels is too small to fit over the hub-centric ribbies and possibly the front 4x4 hubs. I'm more of a 2wd guy so I can't speak to the 4x4 applications. Most of the 2wd guys I know who put Chebby wheels on their minis just grind off the ribs. I've never heard of any serious problems with doing this.
yeah, so short answer is swapping jap 6 lug wheels around shouldn't be any problem.

Watch some of those older wheels center hub hole is to small for front hub.
