NICE fish! Thanks for sharing, there's a bunch of us Cruiserheads who are also fishermen, I love seeing shots of fish, especially with Cruisers. Besides, it gives us an idea of what they look like when first caught, you know how much they grow as time goes by! :)

What kind of salmon is that? Pacific? I've never fished for salmon (not exactly abundant in Venezuela, except smoked!), but my father-in-law was in the Bay area recently and went out for Pacific salmon, got a couple of 35+ pounders.

If you're ever on this side of the continent, there's awesome fishing out here, we always go out to the Outer Banks of NC at least once a year. Lemme know and we'll put a Cruiserhead fishing trip together!

What do you mean? Lake Mead has some GIANT carp. & the good thing is they glow in the dark so they are easy to spot at night.
+ they taste MUCH better than those King Perch!! :D

Sixranch,
You lucky Dog!!! They don't even sell them that big in the stores here!!!

They look like King (Chinnook) Salmon to me. About 35lbs is my guess. When I was A kid we used to go to Oregon all the time to catch them. It sucks to be broke & short on time!!!

Yep some big buggers....
All you need to catch them is some old bread and a golf club. Learned that from the bears. Sometimes if you hit them just right the whole thing lands on shore :D

Where you at sixty?

The way we catch them, we hold a piece of bread in our hand & dip it in the water. the carp will grab you whole hand & not let go, you just pull em out of the water. J/K I really saw this on TV once though, except they were catching giant catfish somewhere back east

Where you at sixty?[/

I live in Summerlin.
Do you know Frank Johnson? I used to live about a block away from him.

I work up on north Rancho, next to the Offroad.com guys.

Where are you?

Nice fish. I live close to the ocean also (Atlantic) Our striper run is just finishing up. Trade a steelhead trip for a striper trip!

You mean the j10 w/ 10" of lift & 33's? :D Na, about a 1/2 block north on the corner of Rancho & Gowin. The new buisness park. Your out by north Jones? We always go wheeling, shooting & blowing stuff up out there. About 8 months ago Rod Hall was out there racing trucks w/ the off-road.com guys. it was pretty cool but I don't think they apreciated us wheeling in there vicinty. They gave us dirty looks when we dorve thru there little "camp" to get out there.
