JohnC 12-21-2001, 11:20 AM I've got a line on a '98 vortec 4.3 low miles and complete except for the fuel injection for $200. My thought is to put a Q-Jet and intake manifold on it. How well would this motor push 35"-38" tires with a SM420, Dana 300, Dana 44s with 5.38s? Thats what the first ones came stock with, and they seem to run great. I plan on rebuilding one for the 4.3 sitting in my truck, going to rin 37's 4.10 and Th-350. I'm very interested in this as I would like to run a Q-Jet on this engone soon. pcorssmit 12-21-2001, 05:55 PM There are other applications that ran them as well, but I see a lot of 4.3L Astro vans in the junkyard with q-jets. Don't know if they are pluter controlled or not. There are both computer controlled and non-computer controlled. | |
