Where is the best place to get it. Perferably in El cajon Lakeside area. Im leaving in a few minutes to go to my parents house for a month and need some steel to do some work on my truck When I am down there.

Many years ago there was several decent metal yards by Gillispie Field and the best price was always in Chula Juana.

industrial metal supply is the place i get all my stuff. Off Convoy. The guys there are cool and their remnants rack is huge and almost always has everything i need.

Rogers supply in Santee is the closest place for such things. Pretty good price wise. It's across the street from the old Price club used to be. At the end of Prospect. They have anything you will need. Closed Mondays.

Thanks for the info. Looks like i will go to the one off prospect. just need a few chuncks so not worth driving all over the county to save a few cents. Already a long drive from Julian so try to keep it to a minimum as it is.
