I was just given a new Campbell Hausfield die grinder for Xmas. It's blue, available at most hardware stores and I think my Autozone carries it too.
Hmm, well I searched the web but couldnt' find a pic... but it looks to have a completely plastic body and it's definitely very blue. Looks cheap to me.
Is this thing worth a darn? I'm inclined to return it and order an IR.
EDIT: aha, this is it:

Christmas isn't for three more days.
Ass.
PS -- better be careful with that paddle switch. You're liable to hurt yourself... maybe get your hand stuck between the die grinder and a hard place. :flipoff2:

That's the point, why even bother. Buy cheap, buy twice. Or buy once and have a tool that lasts a lifetime. I don't need the frustration of having this thing crap out on me when I could just get a good one and be done with it - forever.
Thanks tho, you helped me make my decision. This one is going back.

i have one that is over 5 years old. overall id say its been used about 20 different times. still works like new. unless your gonna use it everyday in a proshop environment it will last a long long time.
