I ordered ORU's SAS kit, already have the HP60, slowly getting rebuilt over the winter, maybe to be put in around spring. I'm just wondering what I can sell the entire IFS stuff for to help pay for the swap. It's a 97 2500HD, 4:10s, ABS (that works), and the heavier t-bars for the BBC. It all works perfect, it's on my truck as a d/d, needs nada. It will be complete pitman arm to the rotors/calipers, and everything that goes with it. Anybody have any rough ideas? TIA

From what I have seen, it will be tough to give that stuff away.

I'd guess it's worth about $.03 per pound at your local scrap yard.

You may get lucky on Ebay and find someone that want it but my 1/2 ton IFS stuff I tossed.

You should be able to get a few $'s for the diff, front axle shafts, unit bearings, rotors and calipers but not a lot. It might be easier to trade for

Hmm, not the news I was looking for. I think I found someone that wants it, but he has nil for money, so I can't count on him. Maybe I'll cut him a deal on the front crap just to offset some of the cost.

That figures, nobody needs it so it will just sit in the barn collecting dust, I'll trip over it and throw it out, then I will get a call, "hey, you still got that IFS shit? I just blew mine apart, will you take $500 for it??" That will be my luck. It's a 2500HD, which basically means the only diff is the badges on the side.
