Are there any roads off of Hwy 88 (No. Calif) that are left
un-plowed (like Iron Mtn Rd) that are good snow runs ?

Last year I headed up to omo Ranch rd to do some wheelin, but they had plowed it:bounce: I was pissed. They usually never plow that road. I have not been up this year, my cruiser is in the middle of a complete rebuild, or I could tell you this years conditions. I like to go up 88 a little further to cat creek rd, or
mertin springs road, they dont get plowed, and the snow gets deep:smokin:

not about when Dave's cruiser is going to be done:flipoff2:

Sounds inviting, but a little far to go for a day trip
for us Sacramento County residents.

Omo Ranch and Cat Creek sounds good, I may have
to check those out, after the holidays.

Thanx for the response, guys.

i would try out in grizzly flats, some road named spring something, its on the left hand side going up from summerset. anyhow, i went there last year and it was great, no one else had been up there and it was just a beautiful drive with lots of snow to play in. i hear the road connects later on with iron mountain, although i can't say for sure. i know half way up we where at caps crossing, you might want to check it out.

Try out Pi Pi valley which is right off omo Ranch....Once your on the bottom, have fun trying to find your way around. Its basically a motorcycle riding area w/a lot of logging roads running around. It does hook up w/ iron mtn. rd/ morman emigrant trail, but good luck finding the route if its buried.

A lot of the other roads off 88 head down hill, so you might want to have a good winch to get back up.
