no not yet. the rear in question is one a buddy has just picked up. it has 5.13 gears and he is going to put it under his toyota if he can switch it to 8 lug. if i see it i will be able to determin if it can be switched or not but i am at work plus i am going out of town first thing this morning so..... i was just asking to see if anyone knew off hand. :usa:

i am going to start mine today also. first i am gonna try to use 60 stuff that should work with little mods if not you should redrill but make sure your rims will fit over the massive 70 drums. i will keep you posted. and keep me posted on your progress too.

I have an 8 lug 70 apart from a 90 dodge application
bearing numbers are
inner 28682
outer lm104949
seal nat 417158
the front 60 hubs seem to slide right on and share bearings etc

i went out and looked at it today. the back side of the wheel flange on the hub is flat (unlike a 14bolt). this will make the process of redrilling it to 8lug pretty simple. i am curious if rear d60 hubs could be used though. let me know.

ok the big six lug 70 front can use eight lug 60 rear brake stuff. the spindles are the same and backing plate are the same just cut a bigger center hole out.
