Glenn 12-23-2003, 12:23 PM Dustin Emick did my exo. It was really his first one. You should see what he's done to his Toy now. Awesome!!! I think his cell number is 916-205-7982. Dustin is the newest member of the Pirates club... :D Look here - http://www.pirate4x4.com/glenn2/exocage/ - for pics from start to finish...

Brandon 12-23-2003, 10:45 PM I can understand the pillars, which is why I'd do something like http://rcrc4x4.com/TechReports/bumpersnbars/mvc-010f.jpg or http://www.rivercityrockcrawlers.com/forum/attachments/im000231.jpg
but keep the rest under the sheetmetal

fjthis 12-24-2003, 03:51 PM wow i realy like the under the metal look. how much does something like that run? ball park
Chris Geiger 12-24-2003, 04:07 PM Andy Widner, who now works for Marlin Crawler did my cage. He does custom work all the time. An exo cage like this one costs about $2,000 completly installed.

That is totally badass. BUT, isnt the whole purpose of an exo to protect the sheet metal? :p

nah, windshield/A pillars, anyone whos flopped their junk with an exo has impressions from the bars on their shetmetal...
Brandon 01-02-2004, 07:19 PM it is protect your noggin, if you need to protect your sheetmetal find another hobby..
fenders are cheap, the pillars are a bit more work and it gives more head room. The point for me would be to protect my engine (lotsa work in that 5.0 ;)) and to protect me.
Wolverine 01-03-2004, 12:35 PM welder boy does some nice exo work (916)628-9364
break it in 01-09-2004, 09:03 AM i got the bumper done and wench mounted looks sweet love the way it came out its set up to add the exo later shane at hbr&k hooked me up pic to come soon needs painted:p
The Joker 01-09-2004, 09:49 AM Now for the real question does anyone ship EXO's? Bend it all up and ship it out with parts labeled/numbered what ever so you know the proper order and place to put them when you get it?
Oh and of course what might this cost?
