V8 2500s have Dana 60 front and rear, You have either a 241 or 241 HD T case .HD cases have pto provision. You can fit 33's stock and get 35's with a leveling kit. Gears are going to be 3:55 or 4:10's
It wil lhave the 46RE for the Auto trans.

Only kit I know of that converts the front to locking hubs is for pre-00 rams. You can contact dynatrac as they are one of the makers of the kit. The other is right gear.
Also, you can have a dana 70 rear, depending on options.

I have yet to see a v8 2500 with a 70.
The dynatrac conversion wont work on the 00 ups. The ball joints are different amoung other things.
Ive been told right has a manual hub conversion for the 00 ups for 1800. I think thats very expensive. Give them a call to see if is available. You will be stuck with 30 spline 1.31 shafts. For that kind of money you can sell you current axle and do a HP swap

My buddys 01 2500 4x4 with a 360 had a dana 70 rear... it is also the only 2500 v8 I have looked at up close.
His also has the camper tow package, basically every option but leather and a bigger motor.

Ive also seen the 2500's with camper and tow packages with the 60. If they are out there, its the first I seen. A few people told me they have had 70's in the rear and I would eat crow if they could prove it to me. They have yet to offer a pic of the RPO codes.

THIS TRUCK HAS EVERY OPTION EXCEPT LEATHER AND A LARGER MOTOR ACCORDING TO THE DEALERSHIP I WORK AT. I WILL GET THE VIN AND CALL TO FIND OUT EXACTLY WHAT IT HAS. IT HAS THE CAMPER TOW PACKAGE. I LOOKED AT THE REAR QUICK AND IT LOOKS BIGGER THAN MY 60 REAR IN MY JEEP SO I WILL CHECK WHEN I BUY. THANKS FROM A SOON TO BE DODGE GUY :flipoff2:

Just check the RPO codes. They are under the hood but more likely in the glove box on a 2001. It will tell you your axles front and rear, if the rear has a l/s and your gear ratio
