I am glad you were able to use the idea, but at least give me a reach around next time. :flipoff2:
Its cool, I liked the idea then, and I am glad someone made it available to the average joe :flipoff2: :flipoff2:
If you were an asshat, or a hack I would be pissed, but you have made some nice stuff, and seem like a standup guy. I will be calling you about a lucky13, when I finish the 4 landcruiser projects in the shop.

What is the big deal here?!? It looks like a disc of steel with a bunch of tapped holes in it. What, like 2 to 3 hours of lathe and mill work?!?
Make it a little bigger on the OD and use it as a t-case e-brake. I made mine that way, but never got around to buying a caliper........

heavytlc 11-19-2004, 02:33 PM I did not want to come across sounding like the asshole that I am, but I did. I was doing a search a few weeks ago and came across this post, I made 3years ago, right before Rockrat started making adapters. I was not the first one in the world to make a simple adapter, but I thought it was interesting that Rockrat started making the Rat adapters when he did. I could give a fawk, but I was trying to be sarcastic. It was like the post with the Moto cage, that looked like on of RockRats cages.
I do not sale parts, work on other peoples trucks, or make things for customers. I build stuff for myself, and friends. I have made lots of cool stuff, and would get great pleasure seeing it on other peoples trucks, but I am not going to make it, or sale it.

Glad you were able to make one for yourself, more People should try and do things on there own if they are capable.
My point in my reply to your's was simply lets see it.. I like to see what other's have come up with. As far as who's idea I am sure there were others that tried before I did and as a FYI I have made them since the end off 1999 right after i sold my Toy and bought a zuk.. I didnt publish or try to sell untill after the PPA went through on them. The point is mute and sort of like which cames first the chicken or the egg. I applaude anyone who has the ability to try and do something for themselves satisfaction come's from your own achievements and met goals.. As far as judging you an ass not my place.
heavytlc 11-19-2004, 03:36 PM Very professional responce. Exchange of ideas is what the board is all about. Get back in the shop, and make some new stuff, I need some new ideas :D
BTW
If you are reading this and do not understand what a Rat Adapter is, it is an adapter that lets you bolt mini truck driveshafts to your samurai trasfer case, and or stock axles. Simple, strong, cheap, and easy. They can be ordered from RockRat.
I am still an ass, even if you will not say it :D
