Ok, here's the problem. Putting on a Performer Intake and having a hard time finding the intake gasket Edlebrock calls for. They call for the Fel-Pro #1256 that has an open exhaust crossover port. The only one I can find locally is the Fel-Pro #1205 that have closed(don't have) crossover exhaust ports. Can I use the 1205 w/o exhaust crossover ports?

you need to use the correct gasket.

I used a sumit cheap gasket on my old chevy and never had a problem. I don't know if the other type wouldn't work, might be worth a try.
