: inconsiderate kids & parents who don't care
JeepinIan 12-28-2003, 10:14 AM I went the mall yesterday & while walking thru, I noticed 3 young black kids taking the silver change out of the fountain in the middle of the mall. Now, I don;t know about anywhere else, but down here that money goes to chartiable causes, cancer research, handicap kids, etc. I didn't see these kids paerents aywher, and 1 of them had to have been only about 7 or 8, with the oldest about 13 or 14. No-one around them said a word to them, but everyone was looking.
I finally couldn't keep my big mouth shut and told em that the money they are taking may stop a kid form getting a wheelchair or medicine that they need to stay alive. I also told them that since they are doing so well, new clothes, healthy bodies, don't look like they are starving, why don't they donate some of their money instead of taking it.
All three faces turned to e and they looked like a kid who was caught with their hand in the cookie jar. They all thru the money back in the fountain and left.
Fawkin inconsiderate kids & lazy good for nothing parents!
Gen. Nonsense 12-28-2003, 11:19 AM Nice job! Most people are spineless and wouldnt have said a word. Especially to three "black" kids, for fear of the racist card being thrown.
I took money from the fountain once...and got my ass beat by my Mom. I would do the same to my boys if they did some $hit like that
rockmup 12-28-2003, 11:32 AM Good for you.
I too am not afraid to say things to peoples kids. I do it all the time and my wife swears I'll get shot someday.
It's a shame people can't raise their kids any better. But because of that you need to assume they did not understand, now they do.
Again, good for you.

been there, done that, pissed me off MORE when the mother was watching and did nothing, even when the kid went to the mom for defense from me. :shaking:
Yet she fully believes that her kids aren't that bad. *sigh*
I think thats the biggest problem... parents refuse to see kids for what they may really be.
jstarnes 12-28-2003, 12:11 PM this is the reason I hate going shoping. At home depot people block isles, dont watch where ther going, dont pay attention to who is arround, and take the time of the attendants for the stuipist reasons, all of this gets burned into the minds of there children and then they become bigger jackasses. Just last week at one store I was trying to go arround a girl pushing a cart (she was talking to a friend that worked in the store) and as I tried to go arround she started to move in front of me cause she didnt see me (and yes I would have went another way but the isles were blocked by people who left there carts to look for other items) any way I said excuse me and went about my buisness and what do you know the same girl runs into my heal again not paying attention where she was going. people should be responsible for there actions and there kids actions, and should teach the kids to be courteous to people arround them instead of being so cought up in there worlds and what there doing???
RANT OFF :flipoff2:

What worries me most about people like that is....
If they can't handle a shopping cart, I wonder how they handle a car! :scared:
