: What a good rust remover?

I just did my tub recently i used a braided wire brush hooked up to my dewalt grinded the rust right off then I just cleaned it up and POR 15 the tub..... If you have alot of rust SANDBLASTER thats what I would use....:rasta: :rasta:

right now im using a little paint remover, but there is some deep rust.

Paint remoier??????? what the hell is that gonna do?

Get a wire wheel and an angle grinder, or like said before if there is a whole lot a sand/bead blaster

Phosphoric acid (H3PO4). You can find it in a good paint dept. It is sold as metal etch. Kills rust, nothing better.

I use a 4.5" angle grinder and a wire cup brush. Works real good. I have gone through several in the past few days just getting the rust off axles and springs. Be sure to wear something over your nose, the rust dust is bad when it starts kicking up.
