I have been looking into a one piece axle upgrade for a M20 wide-trac. I have read it is recommended that the "centering block" get removed from the diff. I looked at a few different exploded views of the M20. I don't see a "centering block", but I do see a "thrust block". My guess is these are the same, but I don't know. Are they? Is removing this "... block" required when doing this upgrade?

Thanks,

Dennis

I just pulled the thing out, put in the axles and a lock right. They say it can be pulled out so I pulled it out.

It depends on which kit you buy. My summers brothers axles require that it stay.... Not sure why, when I called and asked they said that it has to stay because theirs are Direct Stock replacements (same length shafts). I left mine in and welded the diff.
