I know Chris Geiger has had problems with these tires falling apart. How common is this? It cant happen too often, or we'd have another Firestone deal happening, so how about it? Anybody else?

On my first set of SSR's I had one fail on the freeway. Total loss of air in just a couple of seconds. Kinda scarry on the freeway at 70 MPH.

I have switched over to the 38 TSL's and so far so good.

I've come across several sets of SSRs lately that are falling apart. One set in particular is losing the tread in big chunks.

I would stay away...

38 x 12.50 SX's are the same size, a little bigger but a LOT more tire for the money.
